When pipelines exceed DN150 (6 inches) up to DN1200+ (48 inches), installing inline full-bore meters becomes costly, heavy, and requires prolonged plant shutdowns. The KBN Insertion Magmeter solves this challenge by mounting through a 1" or 2" weld-o-let or hot-tap isolation ball valve.
The sensor head features high-purity SS316L / Hastelloy C electrodes embedded in an aerodynamic probe tip that samples average velocity at the critical pipe cross-section, delivering reliable flow measurements at a fraction of full-bore installation cost.
